Welcome new authors!
Lots of folks are signing on as “authors” on the blog, which is wonderful. I love that incoming students will be able to be in conversation with alums who have since left campus but whose hearts remain here!
Here are a couple of procedural matters: please offer a brief bio of yourself at the end of your first post — nothing formal, just a few lines to help us get to know each other. Tell us a couple of your favorite books or writers, interests and hobbies, for instance. Let us know where you’re from and, if you’re an alum, where you are now. Photos welcome!
And, obviously we want to avoid spoiling the end of the novels for other readers. Feel free to post your thoughts even if you’re only mid-way through, but hold off on giving away the last page! Again, we’ll focus on Bel Canto in June; once the month concludes, feel free to offer your thoughts about the novel’s conclusion.
